A community conference like PyCon US is in large part run by volunteers. There are many ways to get involved if you are interested in serving the community and meeting others as part of the team who makes the conference possible!
The two major opportunities to volunteer before the conference are happening right now — we need volunteers to help our CFP Committees review proposal submissions and help select the topics that will be presented at this year’s conference as well as volunteers to join our Online Experience Committee to assist in enhancing the PyCon US virtual experience and boost engagement for our online attendees.
For more information about the committee member role description, visit this page and submit your application here.
There will be opportunities to sign up for on-site volunteer roles at PyCon US 2023 once the date of the conference is a bit closer. We will announce each sign-up opportunity both on this via the PyCon US Twitter page and the PyCon US website, so follow along for the chance to volunteer as one of the people who helps put PyCon US on for the worldwide Python community!
